This is a fabulous salad. Every time I bring it anywhere I get compliments on it. The dressing is delicious, but don't add it or the almonds until right before serving. You can also use strawberries or raspberries instead of oranges.
TROPICAL SPINACH SALAD
5 cups torn fresh spinach
3 cups torn romaine lettuce
2 cups torn leaf lettuce
1 11 oz. can mandarin oranges, drained
1 small purple onion, sliced and separated into rings
¼ cup sliced almonds, toasted
Place first five ingredients in a large bowl. Toss with Cooked Salad Dressing (below). Sprinkle almonds over top. Serve immediately.
COOKED SALAD DRESSING
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup white vinegar
¼ teaspoon dry mustard
¼ teaspoon instant minced onion
dash of paprika
1 egg, beaten
¼ cup vegetable oil
Combine first 7 ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil 1 minute. Gradually stir in oil. Chill in refrigerator until ready to serve salad. Yield ¾ cup.

There is so many things you can get them. Do they have a registry? I would definitely look at and see then shop around for a gift. I like pots, plates, candle or centerpieces, glass cups or even make a gift basket. I do not think you are going to have a hard time fitting any price range.
You can generally count on 2 hours.
The parade itself does not last that long – nor is it taped on Christmas Day. Parts of it are live – such as narration – but that's how they can tout it as "live." It is actually taped over a period of several days for broadcast on the 25th of December. What takes up the two hours are non-parade things like showing the narrators and interviews and showing behind the scenes segments.
I know this because I worked for The Disney Company for 24 years and was always part of the process.

try keeping it in the fridge. I also use gevalia. as for your question on if they use additives then the answer is no. ask the restraunt what kind of coffe they serve, you would be suprised to find out that most of them use the same kind. Chace&sanborn usally.

Gosh…I still remember my 8 year old self listening to this song and laughing at the pushing an elephant up the stairs part like it was yesterday. I can’t believe it’s been 11 years. And now, I actually understand the lyrics and story behind it. So while the song does take me back to my childhood and bring back great memories, it also has a whole new meaning now. I had no idea what the song was about when I was a kid, I just liked it because I thought it was beautiful and peaceful-sounding.
