It could have been really good, in many countries coffee is roasted as part of the coffee ceremony. However, for anybody to drink and nod in appreciation of the flavors/aromas in coffee seconds after it is brewed is laughable. The palate is not able to detect anything at that temperature and in fact most likely that level of temperature would most likely dull any origin or roasting defects.

I don’t believe so, I think it’s an old hand grinder from Poland. We use it for pepper, as it is really quite slow and makes a very fine grind, far finer than we would use for coffee.

Yes, I heard running vinegar too, but they actually sell a cleaning powder especially for cleaning coffee makers at the Supermarket. You mix it with water and you pour it where the water goes and then run a brew cycle. It works perfectly! Its from Mr. Coffee.

Well, if you pay attention to the video, you can see that the water starts going up around 4.30 and the coffee is ready (meaning back down in the bottom globe) around 9.30, which according to my calculations means that the water spends in the ground about 5 minutes altogether. The first four and half minutes goes for heating the water.
i wouldn’t do that as it will stick on the heating coils. You would be better off using more of an electric tea pot so the coils don’t contact the liquid directly.
